On Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 the new shells from Wintech arrived at the boathouse. The shells represent the first purchase of boats that the Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors has made. Brendan Crotty (head of sales at Wintech) made the trip from the east coast to deliver the shells personally.

Several of the team members were on hand to help with the delivery of the shells.

"It's an exciting time for TRC Juniors and the purchase of the new shells mark a significant point of progress for the team. My thanks go to all athletes, boosters, sponsors and supporters who have made this happen".

The team commences practice on August 20th for the fall season.
