Tulsa Rowing Club Results – Heart of Texas Regatta, Austin, TX

Tulsa Rowing Club members had their best ever showing at the Austin Heart of Texas Regatta, earning a record tally of 4 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals over two days of racing March 8th and 9th. Blue skies and light winds produced ideal racing conditions on Saturday on Lady Bird Johnson Lake in Austin, and both Juniors and Masters club members rowed competitively against the 29 teams represented at the regatta. Increasing winds forced the cancellation of single and double events on Sunday and created challenging conditions for the racing of quads. The course was a 1,000 meter Sprint race.
