This past weekend, the 2007 Southwest Ergometer Amateur Tournament (S.W.E.A.T.) was held at the Jesuit College Prep School in Dallas, TX.  The Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors registered a strong showing with 18 athletes competing.  Four athletes finished in the top 5 of their division, including a thrilling 1^st place finish by TSAS’ Eliot Price in the Men’s Jr. Heavy-weight category.  Price, whom posted a personal record (PR) time of 7:05.9, (top 2k time recorded by a male on this year’s squad), narrowly edged out the 2^nd place finisher by 1.7 seconds.  Other top-5 finishers were Union’s Stephanie Ames (4^th – also a PR), Tulsa Edison’s Sam Berntson (5^th), and Tulsa BTW’s Gentry Klawitter (5^th).
